HTP ALUMNI RETREAT – NASHVILLE,TN

Where do I even start?, When I first saw that the retreat was going to be in Nashville, TN I was sitting in a hospital bed after having my baby. I thought to myself ok, can I do this ?he will be 3 months old by then. I knew I didn’t want to miss it ,so I would make this work. Each time I see Hope I get a refresh for myself and my business.

So this is how it worked, my husband and I flew out with our 3 month old baby Easton on Friday and headed to Nashville,TN where I would meet with 24 other photographers/creatives and learn all the things from the amazing Hope Taylor.

Our first stop was where we were staying The Noelle Hotel , Let’s just say breathtaking. What an experience it was from the time we pulled up in our car to the moment we walked out of our room Sunday night. Amazing customer service that is for sure.

That night we met in the lobby and got lots of hugs and good to see you’s and headed to George Jones Restaurant where the live music and company was one of a kind. I always love going to these retreats because we get to meet up with old friends and meet new ones. After dinner we met up at the hotel for a little treat from Hope and talked about how the following day was going to go. Then it was bed time for this Mama.

On Saturday, we all met in in the Noelle’s room called “The Saidee” Ya’ll I cant even describe this place. It was to die for. If you are ever getting married in Nashville, TN and need a venue Brides, THIS IS IT! Hope of course started us off with some goodies and these amazing donuts from a bakery right in Nashville. After getting all of our little pictures, Hope shared some educational content for us all to take back and incorporate into our businesses.

Lunch time was at the hotels Restaurant – Make Ready, what a neat place.

It was then STYLED Shoot time! Eeeeek, what a DREAM!! The pictures will tell all. Oh we also took headshot too and I have some behind the scene of those.

I unfortunately had to cut my time short after the shoot and didn’t get to join the group for dinner or brunch the next day, but the time spent was very valuable and I took a lot away from it. I can’t wait to incorporate the lessons learned into my business to ensure I am serving my clients well.
